On Thursday, Big Image took the stage at The Unconference hosted by Berghs School of Communication — a full day dedicated to creative perspectives on AI. In their talk, “AI & the image - How to craft, not just generate”, Alexander Andrae Schäfer, Sales Manager, and Amanda Crabo, AI Lead, shared insights from the intersection of scenographic thinking, AI, and large-scale visual storytelling.

Big Image Crafts a Bespoke Stage Curtain for Sámi National Theatre

A new stage curtain now adorns the Sámi National Theatre Beaivváš. Created by artist Máret Ánne Sara and produced by Big Image, the curtain merges Sámi tradition with contemporary artistry, featuring a design inspired by the intricate patterns of reindeer fat membranes.

The Largest 3D Printer in the Nordics Installed at Big Image Studio

Big Image operates the largest 3D printer of its kind in the Nordics, making it possible to bring objects up to 2x1 meters to life—or even larger when printed in multiple parts. For Swedish artist Newkid’s Poseidon tour, the printer was used to create the fingers of a giant hand that appears to rise from the sea.
