Surreal, Boundary-Pushing Visuals
Together, guests had the chance to explore ToiletFotoPaperGrafiska, shown at Fotografiska in Stockholm. An exhibition in collaboration with the artists Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, who are behind the world-famous brand “TOILETPAPER.” Known for its surreal, boundary-pushing visuals, Big Image helped bring their vision to life with multiple materials, flooring, and cut-out figures.
During the evening, Group CEO, Johanna Schäfer, and Head of Sales, Alexander Andrae, shared how Big Image continues to innovate — from pioneering large-format printing to developing new materials, such as their newly launched stage flooring. The same flooring was also featured on-site.
Amanda Crabo, AI Lead at Big Image, offered reflections on the evolving role of AI in art and image-making, emphasizing that new tools should enhance — not replace — creative vision, always guided by human curiosity and intention.
Thank you to everyone who joined — and to those who couldn’t make it, we hope to see you at the next event. The exhibition can be experienced at Fotografiska Stockholm until the 8th of June, and in Berlin until 31st of August.
